Combining rustic old-world woods, a 60’s throwback bar, the NY Post voted Moreno's Cuba's mojitos one of the top ten in Miami. As the culinary ethos based around Cuban classics, Moreno’s Cuba transports guests into the laid-back lifestyle where Old-Havana meets Miami's Wynwood Art District vibe. Created by Latin Grammy Award-Winning Cuban American singer, Jorge Moreno, Moreno’s Cuba pays homage to the stories, music, décor and tastes that were passed down from his family, while mixing with his own, being born and raised in Miami’s melting pot. The Cuban café and cocktail lounge concept was developed around an authentic Havana speakeasy that Moreno’s grand uncle, Jorge Sanchez Villar owned during the Cuban Revolution. The service aspect comes from Moreno’s grandfather, Antonio Moreno, who ran Cuba’s premier restaurant in the famous “Hotel Nacional” in Havana, so it should come as no surprise that every item served is the quintessential Cuban fare.
