Description
In celebration of our 40th Anniversary Season, Ballet Flamenco La Rosa invites you to the World Premiere original Flamenco Theatre work,
"La Virgen y El Gitano", inspired by D. H. Lawrence´s The Virgin and The Gipsy
Sat., 6/21/25 at 8 pm. and Sun., 6/22/25 at 3 pm.
at The Koubek Center,2705 SW 3rd St, Miami, FL 33135.
The full evening length work uses Flamenco music and dance as a language to tell the story of D.H. Lawrence's mesmerizing novella.
The music and lyrics are created and arranged, drawing from traditional as well as contemporary and original material, to be interpreted by world renowned artists from Spain, Latin America and the U.S., under the direction of Ilisa Rosal, BFLR's Founding Artistic Director.
