The first FIU faculty member to ascend to the university’s presidency, Mark B. Rosenberg has over 35 years of experience in higher education leadership. He was one of the principal architects of FIU's growth and expansion during the past decade; served as Chancellor of the State University System of Florida; and is the author, editor, and co-editor of seven books and numerous scholarly articles on Latin America.
After the keynote address, there will be a moderated conversation led by Reinaldo Borges, Principal/CEO of Borges + Associates Architects, with Jorge Duany, Director of Cuban Research Institute at FIU among other noted experts.
