We are so thrilled to have Garden extraordinaires and authors Steve and Wanda Mouzon presenting at this month's Second Saturday Seminar, January 12th 10am-Noon. Most landscape design today has been reduced to little more than “foundation decoration” in most suburban places, but the outdoors can be so much greater than that. It starts with building on right-sized lots, and it’s really just basic economics. Build on a lot too large, and a landscape budget quickly gets stretched thin, but that same budget applied to a properly sized lot can create a series of lush garden rooms. Fortunately, most of Miami Beach was developed as right-sized lots for decades, and we’ll look at a number of techniques for getting the most out of yours.
