Less than 2%?! Despite increased public attention to women and girls issues, the Women & Girls Index (WGI), created by the Women’s Philanthropy Institute (WPI) in 2020, revealed that philanthropic support for organizations dedicated to women and girls continues to make up less than 2% of overall charitable giving. The landscape of charitable giving to women and girls of color is even more drastic.
You can influence your community significantly and be generous to women and girls instead of paying more to Uncle Sam. In this Impact Collaborative, donors will gain great insights on how to best support their communities through giving while also benefiting from lowering their personal &/or business income tax expenses.
