Description

Join your Women’s Fund for a virtual panel in partnership with Bosses for Babies focusing on our Economic Mobility pillar. The Bosses for Babies initiative, led by The Children’s Movement of Florida, aims to engage business leaders in adopting family-friendly workplace practices that support working parents and benefit the broader community: https://www.childrensmovementflorida.org/our-bosses. Flexible, family-focused policies can boost employee well-being, enhance productivity, reduce turnover, and attract top talent. And at The Women’s Fund, we know that a lack of these policies impedes women’s economic mobility. Businesses are called upon to be proactive in supporting families, improving economic security, and fostering better long-term outcomes for children.

Expert panelists will share the concrete benefits of these practices, offering insights into how businesses can proactively support their workforce and community. They will provide actionable strategies to help businesses navigate these challenges and highlight the broader impact of investing in children’s early development.
Keynote Speaker: Madeleine Thakur (President & CEO - The Children's Movement of Florida)
Panelists: Alfred Sanchez (President & CEO - Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce), Andrea Cid (CEO - Miami Growth Machine), and Porpoise Evans (Office Managing Shareholder - Littler).

Are you ready to do more as a business owner? Ready to learn how to talk to your employer about taking positive action? Then join us to hear from speakers who will share their expertise, best practices, and innovative approaches for creating a more inclusive and supportive workplace, while supporting S. Florida’s economy.
